Overall Winner Thomas Hofbauer with his Mentor 2

The Bordairline competition series could be called "Mini X-Alps. The rules are quite simple: The event starts at 8.00 in the morning at a certain location. The competitors choose their own turning point, as far away from the start as possible. Until 17.00 on the next day, they have to reach the start location again. Like in the X-Alps the pilots are allowed to either run or fly.

The main tactical difficulty is to decide, when (and where) it's time to set the turning point.

This year there were four Bordairline Events and Thomas Hofbauer could clearly win the overall ranking with two victories, a second, and a third place. The last competition was held in Interlaken, where he was able to win in front pilots like Chrigel Maurer (X-Alps Winner) and Paul Guschlbauer (X-Alps Third).

Congratulations on this superior performance!
