We believe that the safest and most rewarding way to experience any form of aviation for the first time is to be seated next to a qualified instructor and Paragliding is no exception. We specialize in giving people their first introduction to Paragliding in the safest and most logical way - aboard a tandem paraglider wing with a tandem instructor certified by the Hang Glider & Paraglider Association of Canada.
These flights are available every day and take off from Mt. Prevost located 5 Miles N of Duncan with an elevation of 2500’ above sea level (ASL) or from the Malahat located 20 Miles N of Victoria with an elevation of 1670’ (ASL).
From the moment you launch from the hilltop until you land far below, you will experience the exhilaration of free flight. There is no activity in the world that provides such a feeling of freedom and excitement. Once you have flown, the sky will never look the same. Life may never look the same!
Claudio Mota has been flying since 1992, with over 4,500 hours of airtime he is one of the more experienced pilots / senior instructors in Canada. He has provided over 2,700 tandem flights for customers over the last fifteen years, with an impressive safety record. This is his 8th season offering Paragliding instruction in Victoria, B.C.
You don't need any previous flying experience, just good health, an able body, and the ability to run (we have to get off the ground!).
Actual time in the air for each flight depends on the conditions, but typically a flight lasts a minimum of 15 minutes, but 15 minutes isn't the maximum. We love to fly, so we'll stay up as long as possible! Allow several hours for your tandem flight, since flight time does not include the drive up to launch, pre-flight briefing and instructions, set-up and safety checks.
Our ability to launch and fly safely is dependent on the weather. We might need to reschedule your flight due to weather conditions. The tandem season runs from March to late October. We look forward to sharing your first Paragliding flight with you.

* Price includes all required equipment, transportation from the landing zone and pre-flight briefing. We require that you bring your own sturdy, agile footwear with good ankle support (eg. hikers) WARM clothing and WARM gloves.
